Dear Parents and Fire Mountain Friends,
I just returned from an incredible week with teens and I am so inspired, so on fire, I want to get this IMPORTANT MESSAGE to you NOW! After reading this short email, click the link at the end to see a truly moving video! Watch and listen to teens talk about their lives in a way that will amaze you! I dare you not to tear up!
First some bad news:
1 in 4 children and teens are thought to have some form of mental illness.
Prescriptions written for methylphenidate have increased by a factor of five since 1991 (8.8 million prescriptions for minors per year for ADHD). Production of Adderall and Dexedrine, also used to treat ADHD, has risen 2,000 percent in nine years. (Yes, many need it, but this many?)
These children and teens are our future leaders, our next generation and there are not yet enough of us to help guide them!
Some Really Good News:
Millions of people like you know that what you focus on expands. And like you, they are choosing growth, compassion, service and beauty.
Predicament graduate Bonnie Kellog has donated enough money to place two teens into our Rites of Passage program!!!!
Help is here! Bonnie is offering you and your friends a way to help through her non-profit organization, The Calliope Foundation.
PLEASE, if care about kids and can find it in your heart to sponsor a child or teen to attend one of our life changing programs, call us at 303-443-3343. 100% of your donation (minus any tax or credit card fees) will go toward the following costs for tuitions:

Teen Rites of Passage for ages 13-17-$1697
Super Hero Camp for ages 6-14- $1395
